Feature and Follow Friday #1

Gain New Blog Followers

This is my first Feature and Follow and I love it, it's pretty awesome way to connect. It is hosted Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
Today's question of the day is ....

Q: Activity! Who is your to-die-for book crush? What do you think they look like? Add an image to make us all happy.

This question is pretty easy for me to answer. Ever since I read Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout, I have been in love with Daemon, he is totally swoon worthy as Katy would say, but he is such an arrogant ass at times I felt like pulling him out of the book and slapping him, then kissing him and sending him back!!!
The fact that he is a super cool alien doesn't hurt either and well he is just bucket loads of AWESOME!!! Then in Onyx, he showed us his sweet side and I died again and AGAIN *swoon*

Who would Daemon Black look like in my head, well he kind of looks like the cover model Pepe Toth, who is basically the perfect Daemon.

Opal Teasers!!!

Jen being the awesomely kind person that she is decided to help us calm us down with a few teasers, except ... it caused my heart to practically jump out of my chest so here are the teasers...

I pulled back, drawing in a sharp breath. Our eyes locked. A wealth of emotion shone in his brilliant green eyes. He cupped my cheek with one hand tenderly, and he spoke in his lovely language. It sounded like three lyrical words—a short, beautiful verse. “What did you say?” I asked, my fingers loosening around the cover. His smile was secretive and then his lips were on mine again and my eyes drifted shut. I let go of the blanket, felt it slip away, pool around my hips, and I felt Daemon stop breathing for a moment.

"Simmer down, Kitten, before I have to get you a ball of yarn to play with."
-Daemon Black, who else says stuff like that right?!

After seeing the teasers, I don't think Jen's intention was to calm us down...
Also I think I know what daemon said, and as for the sheet falling down, well I'm just letting my imagination run wild!

Waiting on Wednesday #6

Waiting on Wednesdays is a weekly book meme that lets anxious readers like all of us know what to be jumping up and down for. It is hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

Name: MILA 2.0
Author: Debra Driza
Publication date: March 12th, 2013
MILA 2.0 (MILA 2.0, #1)
Mila 2.0 is the first book in an electrifying sci-fi thriller series about a teenage girl who discovers that she is an experiment in artificial intelligence.
Mila was never meant to learn the truth about her identity. She was a girl living with her mother in a small Minnesota town. She was supposed to forget her past —that she was built in a secret computer science lab and programmed to do things real people would never do.
Now she has no choice but to run—from the dangerous operatives who want her terminated because she knows too much and from a mysterious group that wants to capture her alive and unlock her advanced technology. However, what Mila’s becoming is beyond anyone’s imagination, including her own, and it just might save her life.
Mila 2.0 is Debra Driza’s bold debut and the first book in a Bourne Identity–style trilogy that combines heart-pounding action with a riveting exploration of what it really means to be human. Fans of I Am Number Four will love Mila for who she is and what she longs to be—and a cliffhanger ending will leave them breathlessly awaiting the sequel.

Ooooh wow!!! I was browsing through a list of books scheduled to release in 2013 when my eyes caught this one and I was like " Why haven't I seen this before?"
It looks amazing and I am a hardcore Jason Bourne fan although I haven't read the books my dad and I watch the movies every fortnight.
Can't wait for March!

P.S. I was thinking of doing a giveaway, for the 10 followers, but then I thought maybe I should do it for the first 50, what do you guys think 50 or 10, maybe if I get a lot of followers... I'll do it for 30.... hmmm....

Review - Half-blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)
The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures. Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden. Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

I'm a huge Lux fan, and when I say huge I mean huge, I practically pray everyday for more Daemon, and go to sleep at night wishing I would get Daemon dreams!!! I absolutely love the Lux series, okay let me get to my point because if I start talking about the Lux series, well I could babble on for hours and hours. So because of my love for the Lux series, I didn't really want to read the Half - Blood series, cause I was scared I wouldn't like it as much or something like that. But when I decided to finally give it a try.... Well it literally not figuratively BLEW my mind!!!

I loved the book, though I'm still a hardcore Lux fan, the number 2 book in my all time favorite book list is the Covenant series!!! I love the characters and I loved the story and I need more, way more!
The main protagonist is Alex and she is so strong and  brave and courageous and I could go on and on and awn and awn. She is running from daimons that literally suck the living aether out of a half blood or pure blood. She is saved by Aiden St.Delphi a Sentinal. He is the best Sentinal out there with the patience of God because he is entrusted with training of Alex, in order for her to ....(I don't want to give out many spoilers soo..)

Alex and Aiden train and from the synopsis we know that she has a huge crush on him, unfortunately pure bloods like Aiden are banned, forbidden and out of reach for half - bloods like Alex. She faces the painful ache of many events that eventually lead her to harsh and brutal consequences and require her to use her brain and make smart decisions, which let's just say Alex finds hard to do.

I loved that Alex was such a bad ass and that she wouldn't take crap from anyone. She was great at kicking-butt and I loved when she got all riled up and started fighting. I honestly loved this book, I love Greek myths and all things Grecian ( I plan on taking a classics major in college), so this book was extremely inviting to me and it was not at all like Percy Jackson, if that's what
you guys were thinking, it was ten - No wait, a bzillion times better. I loved this one character whose name started with S and ended with H, well let's just say he gave *cough cough* Aiden, a run for his money, but in the end I'm Team Aiden all the way, I think I'll get a T-shirt saying that!!!

All those girls out there who loved Katy, for her strong never give up attitude are going to love Alex, because she is a major ass-kicker from the very first page!!!

This book is a must read for Jennifer's fans, now I can't wait for my Pure copy to arrive, but sadly it's going to take one more week!!!

Rating : 5 stars

P.S. I want more followers!!!

This weeks teasers are from a personal favorite of mine:
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)

Teaser #1

He appeared almost as nervous in front of Patti as I'd been on front of his father. It made him seem younger. What did he think she might force him to do - sing hymns with us? The absurdity of it, plus the knowledge that I was in deep trouble, made the corners of my mouth turn up, a nervous reaction.
Patti narrowed her eyes at me, and I pressed my lips together.
The silence stretched on and I needed to fill it.
"Patti, this is Kaidan. Kaidan, Patti."

Teaser #2

"Kaidan ... do you think you could try to be a gentleman, at least while we're travelling together, and maybe wear shorts to bed?"
"Ahh... I see." He sat back. "The sight of my arse gave you quite a fright, did it?"
"I'm being serious," I told him.
He took a drink of the coffee. "For the record, I'm not a gentleman, but I'll make an exception this once. No more sleeping nude while travelling together. Satisfied? Now you can stop with the evil eye. Look - here comes our food."

I've been wanting to put up Sweet Evil teasers forever, aren't they amazing!!! Eeeeep, I love this book and Kaidan ... Oh God... Kaidan, is sooooo *sigh* ... and the Brtish accent, I would have hyperventilated if he called me 'luv'!!!

Review - Immortal City by Scott Speer

Immortal City (Immortal City, #1)
Jackson Godspeed is the hottest young Angel in a city filled with them.
He's days away from becoming a full Guardian, and people around the world are already competing for the chance to be watched over by him. Everyone's obsessed with the Angels and the lucky people they protect - everyone except for Madison Montgomery.
Maddy's the one girl in Angel City who doesn't breathlessly follow the Angels on TV and gossip blogs. When she meets Jackson, she doesn't recognize him. But Jackson is instantly captivated by her, and against all odds the two fall in love.
Maddy is swiftly caught up in Jackson's scene, a world of glamour, paparazzi - and murder. A serial killer is on the loose, leaving dead Angels' wings for the police to find on the Walk of Fame. Even the Guardians are powerless to protect themselves in the face of this threat & and this time it's up to Maddy to save Jackson.

One thing was pretty certain when I read the synopsis, this book is anything but traditional. We live in a world where fallen angels are worshipped as the ultimate bad boys, be it Patch Cipriano or Kaidan Rowe we all just love the idea of a bad boy. So it was refreshing that the book was about angels, the mighty, powerful and yet so holy angels, except Speer hasn't really portrayed them as holy or religious in that matter.

Jackson Godspeed is like the Justin Bieber of the world in which the book is set in. Except he is not a human... well duh! since the book is about angels, it is pretty obvious! I loved that the book was so angel themed the E! became A!, there was Angel Weekly and the angels are the stars of all the billboards and they star in all the commercials and blah blah blah...

Here is where things get interesting, the angels train to become guardians and are assigned special people and by special I don't mean those people who are in grave danger or whatever, I mean people with deep pockets who can afford to get angel insurance. That's right people these angles don't do stuff for free, they require payment and although they get a monthly payment, every major save like saving you from being crushed by a car etc. requires money that is immediately transferred from your bank accounts.

And here I thought angels were kind creatures who love to help human kind. Nope they love materialistic things just as much as the next person. This is where Maddy comes in. She is honestly really poor and obviously cannot afford the angel insurance but here's the catch even if she was super rich she wouldn't want a guardian , because she simply doesn't get what the big deal about them is . She doesn't even know who the world's most famous, hottest and wealthiest angel is!! *gasp* Jackson and Maddy meet through a few circumstances which I can't reveal for being to spoilery, and well instant connection, that is until she finds out who he is. Then it's impossible Maddy who will not give Jackson a chance. Yup that's right, he wants a chance with her *swoon* and then the story begins and well it's a book every angel book lover should read, it's a book every book lover should read.
Why?! - because it's different, it's not the typical arrogant bad boy vs good girl/ stubborn girl, its an interesting take on the whole angel scenario and honestly I was enthralled by it.

Granted I'm always going to have a place for Patch and Kaidan in my heart, but I will have a place for Immortal City as it is like a breath of fresh air and it is simply entertaining to read. It wasn't amazing or exceptional but it was memorable and that was a good book should be.The writer has certainly proved his directing abilities and it is like mint chocolate chip ice-cream in a sea of chocolate, everyone loves chocolate but you have to try the mint at least once. So please guys read this  roller coaster of a book set in Angel City for me ... pretty please :D

Review - Losing It by Cora Carmack

Losing It
Virginity.
Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible-- a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor. She'd left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier.

Read Losing It, if you are ready to lose your mind, getting caught up in all of Bliss's inner turmoil.
And her inner turmoil is hilarious, this was hands down one of the funniest books that I have ever read this year. It is literally one of those rolling on the floor laughing my ass of kind of books and it has just the right amount of smexiness to make you stay captivated throughout the book.

The story starts off by Bliss finally confessing to her best friend that she is virgin and there starts project Make Bliss Lose Her Virginity! They go to a local bar and Bliss meets Garreth and she swoons over his hot name and sexy BRITISH accent, that hot guy on the cover is British and he just gets ten times hotter in your head.

Just when she is about to do the big deed she freaks out and blurts the first thing that comes to her head which is not very ...  hmmm... I would say logical (but this was one of my favorite scenes in the whole book). And leaves the poor guy in her bedroom while she leaves her apartment practically naked. Just when she thinks that she will never have to see him ever again ... Surprise Surprise! He is her new theatre professor at college!!! Can it get any more awkward?!!

This book was amazing and the author Cora Carmack said that she wanted to write books that she would read and well she did exactly that. Losing It was a fun, refreshing and awkwardly entertaining book with loads of humour and sexy characters that are totally drool worthy. I hope you guys buy this book because it was amazing!!!

P.S. My favorite scene was the cats scene, what was your's?
P.P.S. If you want a few teasers check out the Teaser Tuesday I did on this book a few weeks ago.

Review - Divergent by Veronica Roth

Divergent (Divergent, #1)   Divergent (Divergent, #1)
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen.
But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

An amazing read that you will gobble up in one sitting. It is a book that is always in crescendo and we can't help but delve deeper and deeper into the book to find out more. I loved, like absolutely loved it and I can't wait to go to the bookstore to get Insurgent because I need more!!!
It starts by introducing us to the lifestyle that Beatrice, she became Tris later, comes from, her family's values and the constant nagging in her head that she isn't like them and that she doesn't belong, well wholeheartedly anyway.

Tris makes a choice at the Choosing Ceremony, that pretty much shocks and thrills her. The Choosing Ceremony is the ceremony in which they choose their faction for the rest of their lives.
However if you think that, that, was the big challenge you guys are in for a shock. Although many people are against her from the beginning she has allies to support and guide her as they are all put through one intense trial through another. These trials test them physically, emotionally and mentally.

Although Tris feels like she belongs there are times when she feels like she doesn't belong as well and that is apart of her big secret.... shhh it's top secret!. Although the book might feel very political at times it is not without its share of drama as it is a YA novel after all and the guy that Tris is falling for is tough, sweet and powerful and seems to love Tris's sarcastic humour (he isn't hard on the eyes either, in fact he is totally swoon-worthy).

I never really felt like buying the Divergent series but when I the different cover and different summary at the back, I was pretty much drawn to like the the awesomeness of the book was calling to me. Yeah sure it sounds weird but this was like a black hole that will suck you in and trust me when I say you will not fight to escape. It captivates you and in the end you will be shaken to your very core.
In conclusion this was a mesmerising and haunting debut that leaves you gasping for more.

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesdays is a weekly book meme that lets anxious readers like all of us know what to be jumping up and down for. It is hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

Name: Boundless (Unearthly # 3)
Author: Cynthia Hand
Publication date: January 22nd, 2013
Boundless (Unearthly, #3)
The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.
Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California - and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.
As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfil her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.
In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.

I love this series, it was one of those fallen angel / angel books that pretty much had me hooked from the beginning and I honestly can't wait for this one, after all it is the last one and I'm sure it will be amazing. The pretty covers don't hurt either.

OPAL TRAILER !!!

*Drum roll please ..... Trumpets blarring*
The Official Opal trailer has been released and I am so thankful to Jennifer L. Armentrout for letting me be a part of its reveal!!! *Squeal*

Opal (The third book in the Lux Series)
Available in both print and digital version on December 18, 2012

And finally after months of waiting patiently .... The Official Trailer....

Check out, my favorite author, Jennifer L. Armentrout on the following sites:

So did you guys watch it, wasn't it amazing although I'm wondering what the old abandoned place is, maybe its a warehouse and did you see the end, she had a ring on her finger, maybe Daemon ....

And in honor of Daemon, Katy and Jennifer's awesomeness,
Here is a teaser and I'm warning you guys it's a kissy kissy one:

Daemon pulled back, brows raised. “Kitten…” “Okay.” I scooted back and he followed, climbing over me, his arms huge and powerful. God, I was in way over my head with him sometimes. “You might be right, but you’re wasting time.” “I’m always right.” I opened my mouth to disagree, but his lips took control of mine, and his kiss reached deep down inside me, melted muscle and bone. His tongue swept over mine, and at that moment, he could have been right all he wanted as long as he kept kissing me like that.

Review - Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik

Epic Fail
At Coral Tree Prep in Los Angeles, who your parents are can make or break you. Cast in point:
- As the son of Hollywood royalty, Derek Edwards is pretty much prince of the school--not that he deigns to acknowledge many of his loyal subjects.
- As the daughter of the new principal, Elise Benton isn't exactly on everyone's must-sit-next-to-at-lunch list.
When Elise's beautiful sister catches the eye of the prince's best friend, Elise gets to spend a lot of time with Derek, making her the envy of every girl on campus. Except she refuses to fall for any of his rare smiles and instead warms up to his enemy, the surprisingly charming social outcast Webster Grant. But in this hilarious tale of fitting in and flirting, not all snubs are undeserved, not all celebrity brats are bratty, and pride and prejudice can get in the way of true love for only so long.

This book was all kinds of epic awesome. It was one of those on-sit reads that you just can't put down and it practically consumes your every waking thought for a few days even after you finish reading it and move on to another book.
So basically you guys get what I'm trying to say here right?

The book starts with Elise and sister making their way through the halls of their new school and poor Elise gets off to a rough start, however her sister just managed to catch the eye of one of the school's most popular guys and he is really cute and sweet and charming and......
Being joined at the hip (I mean metaphorically), Elise and her sister Juliana, go everywhere together, so,  sit with Juliana's new friend  Chase and his best friend who happens to be like the Pax or Shiloh or Suri (without the temper tantrums) of Hollywood. However the best friend is kind of a jerk and is always in dark and gloomy mood and has some serious attitude issues.

However Elise being the the awesome and unique person that she is does not like him one bit and there begins the awesomeness of the story. She and her sister had no clue that Derek was like Hollywood royalty when the new Principal starts swooning over him and then here's the funny part, the new Principal is the sisters' mom and their dad is a math teacher. Poor kids, their high school life is pretty much ruined. Or it was until Juliana starts dating Chase and Elise ends up spending a lot of time with Derek, suddenly she ends up on every one's TBFW list ( To be friends with).

Elise and Derek further hate each other because Elise befriends Derek's enemy Webster Grant, and he is really funny with a quirky sense of humour. We see glimpses of the nice Derek and it's enough to keep us reading until the wee hours of dawn. Do NOT judge this book by the title because it is completely wrong in an ironic way. This book was amazing and people who are fans of the lux series will enjoy this book. ( Although Derek's got nothing on Daemon ;) )

Review - Darkness before Dawn by J.A. London

Darkness Before Dawn (Darkness Before Dawn, #1)
Only sunlight can save us.
We built the wall to keep them out, to keep us safe. But it also makes us prisoners, trapped in what's left of our ravaged city, fearing nightfall.
After the death of my parents, it's up to me--as the newest delegate for humanity--to bargain with our vampire overlord. I thought I was ready. I thought I knew everything there was to know about the monsters. Then again, nothing could have prepared me for Lord Valentine . . . or his son. Maybe not all vampires are killers. Maybe it's safe to let one in.
Only one thing is certain: Even the wall is not enough. A war is coming and we cannot hide forever.

An amazing, interesting and refreshing read, although it did not have me hooked from the very first page, it did manage to rope me in after the first quarter.
The cover looks really pretty but it so totally resembles the Fallen Series, however I liked this book way more than the Fallen series.

The book is about Dawn Montgomery, who is wait for.... the delegate (basically an advocate / agent) who represents the humankind in Denver. She's seventeen and was basically ordered by the Vampire lord, he is oh so powerful, and she didn't really have a choice, it was either become delegate or become his feeding bag and she made the smart choice. She is the chief negotiator who makes sure that the Vampire overlord protects her people and in exchange she makes sure that adequate blood bags *cringe* are supplied or else it's from the neck to the throat * double cringe*. She had to wear Victorian clothes that included corsets and the like when she visited him and had to speak in the old fashioned way, basically she had to behave like a prim and proper young lady. The clothes thing was so annoying and I was waiting for her to grow a spine and stand up for herself which did happen.

One day while she out partying in a forbidden place, she gets cornered by a bunch of rabid vampires who and a sexy guy kicks some serious vampire butt and saves her. While she is busy swooning over Victor (that's his name), and feeling bad about it because she has a boyfriend named Michael who is also super hot, but kind of annoying, she gets called in for another meeting with Lord Valentine.

And guess who was the surprise guest .... it was *gasp* Victor, we were so expecting that, anyway he was not the the sexy vampire kicking bad boy then , he was the polished and proper son of the Lord.
And from then things get interesting and so I don't want to spoil it fro you guys. So all I can say is that I am definitely going to read the second book in fact I'm looking forward to it.

Teaser #1

"You have a blog?" He faced me, leaning back against the post. Derision pinched his features.
He'd said blog like it was a crack habit."Yeah, I have a blog."
"What's your blog's name?"
"None of your business," I said smiling sweetly.
"Interesting name." He returned my smile with a half grin . "So what do you blog about? Knitting? Puzzles? Being lonely?"

Teaser #2

"I'm not even attracted to you." Lie. Lie. Ding! Ding! Lie. "Not even a little bit. You're ---"
Daemon was in front of me in a flash, not an inch from my face."I'm what?"
"Ignorant," I said, taking a step back.
"And?" He matched my step.
"Arrogant. Controlled." I took another step back, but he was still in my personal space and then some.
"And you're ... you're a jerk."

"Ugh!" It was so hard for me not to include a billion teasers I seriously love this book and if you have not read this book I seriously have no words for you right now, except 'Go and buy this book NOW!'.

An extra teaser...

Jen being the tease that she is uploaded an Opal teaser for all the Opal fans out there.

Dawson raised his arm and two DVDs shot into his hand. “Uh, we have Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead.” “Great,” Daemon muttered. I rolled my eyes. “Wussy.” “Whatever.” He elbowed me, knocking a kernel of popcorn between my chest and notebook. I sighed. “Want me to get that for you?” he asked. Shooting him a look, I dug it out and then tossed it in his face. “You’re going to be grateful when the zombie apocalypse occurs and I know what to do because of my zombie fetish.” He looked doubtful. “There are better fetishes out there, Kitten. I could show you a few.” “Uh, no, thank you.” But I did flush. And there were a lot of images that suddenly polluted my brain. “Aren’t you supposed to go to the nearest Costco or something?” Dawson asked, letting the DVDs float back to the coffee table. Daemon turned to his twin slowly, face incredulous. “And how would you know that?” He shrugged. “It’s in the Zombie Survival Guide.” “It is.” I nodded eagerly. “Costco has everything—thick walls, food, and supplies. They even sell guns and ammunition. You could hole up there for years while the zombies are getting their nom nom on.” Daemon’s mouth dropped open. “What?” I grinned. “Zombies got to eat, too, you know.”

After reading that December cannot get here soon enough!!!
Oh Gosh (my friend always says that), why is it so hard and I seriously wish there were ARCs or something, but I don't there are going to be any.

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesdays is a weekly book meme that lets anxious readers like all of us know what to be jumping up and down for. It is hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

Name: The Collector
Author: Victoria Scott
Publication date: March 12th, 2013
The Collector
He makes good girls...bad. Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.
Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

This book has been making the rounds everywhere and it keeps popping up on every blog I visit.
Well after reading the summary I think I know why!
I seriously can't wait for this book to come out and it's going to be a long wait hopefully one that will be soothed by tons of teasers and excerpts.
If any come your way let me know!!! *Fingers crossed*

P.S. I always love more followers :D

Losing It

Teaser #1

He straightened us out, and then slowed a stop at the stop sign.
"All right?"
My face buried against his shoulder, I managed to squeak out,
"Yeah."
"Sorry, love, I'm just a wee bit ticklish is all."
"Oh." I loosened the fingers that were practically gouging into his sides.
Thank God he couldn't see my face right now. Red was not a good look on me.

Teaser #2

"I have a cat! I do!" Damn it ... why couldn't I ever remember my imaginary cat's gender?
"Um ... she's gray and adorable and her name is ... " I said the first thing that popped in to my head, "Hamlet."
I was a genius. I couldn't even invent a girl cat with a girl name. It's like there was this bridge in my brain between the rational and the absurd, and somehow I had burned it.

This book was seriously amazing and I loved every second of it.
I hope the teasers were enough to make you read the book and if they were not...

Name: Opal
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publication date: December 11th, 2012

No one is like Daemon Black.
When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.
But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.
After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.
Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

I honestly love the Lux series and for those of you who haven't read it, shame on you!!! Go to the book store and beg, borrow or steal ( I'm just kidding although the book is definitely steal-worthy we all know that stealing is bad). For those of you who have read Obsidian and if you thought the wait for Onyx was bad, well I'm pretty sure a lot of you will be having panic attacks when you finish Onyx and realize that you NEED Opal.

I seriously cannot wait for this book. If anyone has any news of ARCs please let me know, I will be eternally grateful!!!

P.S. Followers are always welcome ;)

This week's teasers are from:
 Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick,
check out my review as well!!!

Teaser #1

I left Patch' s place, intending to drive home, all the while combating a violent wrenching in my stomach that felt part guilt, part genuine illness. I couldn't remember a single time in my life when I'd felt more ashamed.
Or more ravenous.

Teaser #2

I didn't get to finish. A cloth bag was dropped over my head, and I was wrestled into a bear hug from behind. In my surprise, I dropped the cell phone. I screamed and tried to swing my arms free, but the hands shoving me forward and into the street were too strong. I heard a large vehicle rumble down the street, then come to a screeching halt beside me.
A door opened, and I was thrust inside.

Because this is my first Teaser Tuesday post here is a little something extra ...... *Squeal*

" You dress to impress," I said approvingly.
"No Angel," He leaned in, his teeth softly grazing my ear. "I undress to impress"

Don't you just love Patch, I'm so sad that the series is over, hope you read the book!!!
